Working for a client in the power generation industry, Schuler Manufacturing created this custom metal fabrication project, carbon steel egress steps and platform for use within a power plant.
Using the customer supplied drawings; we applied several processes including beam line, sawing, shearing, press brake, plasma cutting, and MIG welding to create the hot dipped galvanized stairs and platform. Using carbon steel with a length of 80′, a width of 36″, and a thickness between 1/8″ and 3/8″, we held the tolerance down to 1/8″.
