Laser & Plasma Cutting

Amada Pulsar 2415XL
2000W, 5' x 16' table

The Pulsar 2415XL is a 2000W production laser system that can process 61" x 198" sheets with a single repositioning cycle. High-speed piercing technology delivers turret-like throughput. The Fanuc 160 iL (32 Bit) CNC incorporates a cutting data library, and the advanced C2000, turbine driven, RF excited, fast axial flow C02 laser automatically calibrates itself at power-up, ensuring parameter repeatability. Stealth clamps minimize dead zones and maximize utilization. Amada's patented DoubleCut ® stacked sheet cutting technique provides productivity gains of 80% over single sheet processing.

The Pulsar 2415XL is a high-production machine for short-run sheet metal parts. It provides enhanced features to increase productivity to new levels. A single operator can load large sheets of material safely and easily and provide fast reliable processing. The Pulsar 2415XL is also equipped with an oversized, full machine work chute, synchronized stainless steel rollers, and a high-speed non-contact capacitive head that provides high throughput of scratch-free parts. It also has a unique space saving design with the material moving in one direction, the laser mounted on the frame, and a pendant mounted control system.

  • Minimizes costly rework and scrap by identifying errors before value is added to a part.
  • Eliminates the need for costly CAD programming by digitizing flat parts or templates for reverse engineering where no original CAD data exists.
  • Saves hours of manual measuring and drawing by automating both inspection and reverse engineering.
  • Upgrade the quality process with minimal cost by instantly producing detailed, printed color inspection records to meet requirements for ISO and QS reporting.\
  • Provides faster turnaround to our customers by reducing first article inspection and SPC times.
